Rapala® DT®-6 Helps Trevor McKinney Win Bassmaster College Series Tournament

Lightning struck twice last week for McKendree University’s Trevor McKinney – figuratively and literally. In practice for the Bassmaster College Series Wild Card tournament that he and partner Blake Jackson won on Alabama’s Lay Lake – his second collegiate win on the waterbody – McKinney was struck by lightning for the second time in his lifetime. Wheeler Cranks DT’s on Ledges for Runner-Up Finish on Chickamauga

Running essentially the same gameplan that won him a trophy last June on Chickamauga, Jacob Wheeler came within one biggun’ of winning again this week on the Tennessee River reservoir. Wheeler cranked ledges with Rapala DT-16 and DT-20 crankbaits to catch the most, and biggest, bass he weighed, including a 5-pound, 13-ouncer in the final minutes of the championship round Wednesday on the Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour.
